Green Music Center Seeing Green

Company Updates

SME partnered with Community Counseling Service and the Green Music Center at Sonoma State University to create a corporate sales strategy and presentation tools aimed at marketing the naming entitlement rights for the recently completed Weill Hall complex. Through this work, the Joan and Sanford I. Weill Hall was able to gain a $15 million sponsorship agreement with MasterCard Worldwide. This is the largest sponsorship award ever secured by the university.

Weill Hall is the 1,400 seat centerpiece of the Green Music Center. A world-class facility, designed to rival such venues as Boston Symphony Hall and Vienna Musikvereinssaal. The rear wall of Weill Hall opens fully, enabling the concert to extend to an outdoor audience of over 5,000. The pavilion will host large scale performances in genres such as jazz, reggae, country and many others, as well as ballet and other performances. The Green Music Center saw its inaugural season kick-off with world-class concert pianist Lang-Lang performing to a packed house at Weill Hall.
